About the Bid Coordinator position

We are looking for an experienced Bid Coordinator to oversee and support our outside sales representatives team.

The Bid Coordinator will monitor sales metrics and manage the bid and quote administration process for assigned clients. They will collaborate with various professionals, so it’s essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also be able to motivate the sales support team to achieve specific goals.

Ultimately, the Bid Coordinator should be able to service prospective clients and internal sales team members with feasibility, costing and subject matter expertise to ensure customer satisfaction.

Bid Coordinator responsibilities are:

  • Know about the products and services in the market research and healthcare market research space

  • To provide costing and feasibility to clients requesting an RFQ

  • Communicating effectively with team members

  • Analyzing and monitoring bid volume

  • Communicating with outside vendors for costing

  • Responding to client RFQ in a timely manner

  • Organizing sales and bidding notes for the project team

  • Help kick off projects for the outside sales team and project team

Bid Coordinator requirements are:

  • 3-5 years bidding experience or equivalent in the market research space or in a similar pricing/bidding role

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Good knowledge of the healthcare space

  • Excellent knowledge of the market research space

  • Experience with CRM and MS Office softwares

  • BA/BSc degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
